Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort is about an hour east of Pittsburgh, just off Rt 22 in Blairsville. It has two 18-hole layouts in the foothills of the Chestnut Ridge Mountains in the Laurel Highlands.

Tom's Run is the high-powered layout that traverses narrow, tree-lined fairways along Tom's Run stream on the front while the back side is more open over rolling terrain with multiple streams and ponds in play. It can play to 6,812 yards from the championship tees, 73.0/135, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Bill Love/Ault Clark.

Chestnut Ridge is a classic parkland layout that moves along tree-lined fairways over modest elevation change. It has numerous water hazards and sand bunkers along the fairways and greens. The greens are small to mid-sized and relatively quick, with slightly undulating surfaces. It plays to 6,242 yards from the back tees, 70.2/127 course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, and was designed by James Harrison and Ferd Garbin in 1964.
