Brae Burn is an hour south of Rochester, off the I-390 in Dansville.

Brae Burn is an ancient, 6-hole golf course from the 1890s with 3 additional holes added later. The course hasn't been updated over the years and still has compact, elevated, oval greens with old growth and hardwood trees lining the fairways. There are a few sand bunkers around the greens, a small stream running across a few holes, and a pond. The course plays to 5,753 yards from the tips for a par of 68 with 67.4/114, course/slope ratings for 18 holes.
