Bear Mountain is east of Seattle on the south side of Lake Chelan. It is part of a residential development where the homes are mostly tucked into neighborhoods instead of lining the golf course.

The layout is set on a large tract of land, providing roomy, separate, and isolated fairway corridors with over 700 feet of elevation change and views for miles. The course ambles over the existing lay of the land along and above Lake Chelan in the foothills of the North Cascades National Forest area. From the back tees, it's 7,231 yards, 75.0/137, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Robert L. Yount in 2002.
