Bear Creek is a 9-hole golf course on the south side of Winthrop, about 40 miles west of Okanogan in the Methow Valley.

The golf course roams over the hilly terrain of the former Ortell cattle ranch at the base of Studhorse Mountain, with Bear Creek on the western border. The layout is challenging, with narrow, tree-lined fairways leading to minuscule greens, but most scenic, with stunning views of the Sawtooth Range, Pasayten Wilderness Area, and Mt. Gardner. From the tips, it's 3,168 yards, designed by Herman Court.
