The Basin Harbor Golf Course is part of the Basin Harbor Inn Resort and Spa, which is on Lake Champlain, about 30 miles south of Burlington.

The golf course is a treat to play as it's in an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary meandering through a natural setting. The layout is parkland style over rolling hills through a mix of tree-lined and open meadows with numerous water features. The first few holes were laid out in 1927 by Allen Beach, nephew of the resort’s founder, and Scot Alex ‘Nipper’ Campbell completed the first full nine holes. Robert Mitchell designed the back nine in 1950, and in 1980, Geoffrey Cornish reworked the course. The course plays to 6,573 yards from the back tees, 71.6/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
